A flat morning and not many hills in the afternoon. Alcester is proud of its Roman heritage, and we have free time here so those who wish can vsit the Roman Alcester Museum. Just make sure you're at St Nicholas Church on time (see town map below). After lunch we follow a combination of Arden Way / Heart of England Way / Monarch's Way / Millennium Way.
A&B Pilgrimage History: The 1989 pilgrimage (whose route we crossed yesterday) stopped overnight in Alcester and our routes overlap through the town centre.
