The Roses Pilgrimage 2026

Day 13: Barnoldswick to Clitheroe

Relatively flat walking although there are untrodden paths which may be taxing. We are mainly going through agricultural land with the ruins of Sawley Abbey providing our only prayer stop. Views should be good with Pendleton Hill visible most of the day and a pleasant walk along the river after lunch reaching a small sculpture park shortly before we arrive in Clitheroe.
