We returned to the St Philip Howard Centre about 14:30, where other past pilgrims awaited us, together with a delicious lunch prepared by Imelda and Clare. Over lunch we watched a slideshow of 50 years of pilgrimage, followed by a short service of thanksgiving which included remembering those who have completed their earthly pilgrimage, together with sick pilgrims and their carers. There are few photos after Colgate because I was co-opted into front marking, and none from the afternoon back at the Centre as I was preoccupied with the slideshow! Sorry. Our thanks to John and Louise for planning and leading the walk, Imelda and Clare for preparing and serving lunch, and Sarah for facilitating our use of the St Philip Howard Centre. Aidan Simons
