The St Richard's Anniversary Pilgrimage

Our pilgrimage for 2003 celebrates the life of St Richard of Chichester, who dies in Dover 750 years ago. His remains were returned to Chichester, and we will be recreating that journey (at least in its start and end points), visiting churches and schools dedicated to St Richard on the way, and reflecting on St Richard's Prayer:

Thanks be to thee, O Lord Jesus Christ

for all the benefits which thou hast given us,

for all the pains and insults which thou hast borne for us:

O most merciful Redeemer, Friend and Brother,

may we know thee more clearly,

love thee more dearly

and follow thee more nearly. Amen.
