DABEWP Old Way Pilgrimage 2021 Southampton-Rye

Day 7: Arundel to Steyning

Today's notes: 1. Before our prayers in Arundel Cathedral there is a parish mass at 09:30 and you may want to arrive early to attend that. 2. This is our longest walk this year, and just after Findon, we climb to the Cissbury Ring atop the South Downs. We go back down the same way, so waiting at the bottom is an option for the fatigued. 3. A tea stop in Findon has been suggested and we could do that if all agree; this would delay our arrival in Steyning which is already relatively late.
