Day 16: Prayer Day at Buckfast Abbey

Our prayer day in Buckfast enabled us to visit the abbey, and its beautiful Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

These boots have made their pilgrimage.

The celebration lunch was in the refectory of the school, with views across to the Abbey.

The afternoon included a tour of the abbey, including the wine cellars where the famous Buckfast Tonic Wine is made.
